I often feel the same about Lisbon. Being away from home can be a tough pill to swallow. Hope things get a little easier, and email me should you ever feel the need.
khairun! thank you so much. i didn't know you felt that way about lisbon. i don't know much about lisbon as a city, but i do know that i agree with you about being away from family and home. and vegas is the oddest place to live. when i meet people here, one of the first questions i ask is "where are you from?" because there aren't many natives. not many roots here... so i miss a good old fashioned community. but! my new goal is to be present and be thankful for what i've got. which is a lot. i'm working on it. i'm, shall we say, a work in progress. :)
I am so sorry. Cheer up, the holidays are coming soon and you were be out of there for a while. Can I jump on a plane and keep you company?
