Getting closer to the finished product... but still not quite there. I struggle with all the empty space: I like the idea of some room to breathe, but I don't want it to be empty and dead. What do you think? (Click to enlarge.)

Have you thought about filling in the empty space with color? I like the empty space but I know what you mean about feeling like it may need something....
A bold royal purple? Yellow? I don't know. I really love this piece though and I wish it were MINE!
